This is one of my pony muses, NOT a ponysona. What is the difference between the two? A ponysona, like a fursona, represents you and who you are in pony form. A pony muse is representation of what inspires you. Can they be similar? Sure! Can they be the same thing to some people, sure! But they are completely different to me.
Vignette is a incredibly sweet, artistic pony who takes time to look past the face value of is seen to the art hidden inside it. She's the type of pony who can spot an army of bunnies riding para sprites in the clouds, or the ambitious snake that tied itself into a million knots in a plate of spaghetti.
A few notes about Vignette:
- Her name is in reference to the more artsy form of the word, rather than the written description aspect. I also picked it for the feminine ring that it has to it.
- Her hair is always in ringlet curls and she never has bangs.
- Her bows always match in color, they are usually light cyan kinda blue, but they can really be any pastel color.
- The pen in her cutie mark, always points towards her tail. Aka, if you draw her facing the other direction, the cutie mark needs to be flipped so the pen tip points to her tail.
Vignette is based on one of the things that I do the most. I will often stare at random premade patterns on things, and notice how they sometimes unintentionally form other pictures. Like for instance, my shower curtain has a bunch of roses and ribbon and I've noticed how the ribbon in several spots, makes cat like profile lines. XD It's just a random quirk I guess but it can really inspire me in my art. Taking a line that means nothing and working it out in my head to something much more.
So will you see more of her? Most likely. ^^
My main reason for making a pony muse or two is so that I have a FiM style pony to draw that isn't my fursona turned into a pony lol. That's not to say that I'll stop drawing my Clemi pony, it's just that I wanted a more unique character to draw some times.
Enjoy everypony!
