Work in Progress photo of a mask I am making for my Tiger suit. I am a musical lover and wanted to make a Phantom of the opera style mask as a prop.
The mask i made out of modeling clay laid over my suit's head.
The head is well protected from any water, or debris getting on it, I would not suggest doing something like this unless you know what your doing as clay can ruin the fur on your suit.

im assuming your dong this a a polymer clay, then baking it seperatly so it can be applied ofter you do the rest of your fur and thus not interfeer with any of your fur?

OP
Actually the clay itself does not need to be baked. It drys in 24 hours and then can be sanded, painted and what not.
