I quite like this new shading method. It makes her colours more vivid.

Also, good looking gal. Great curves and still within my suspension of disbelief. Makes for a delightful image.

I'll be honest, I felt that whilst it allowed me to get some more defined shadows it didn't feel as... well, I guess organic? In my other pictures you could almost see my brush strokes. One day soon I hope to find an unholy blend of the two styles <3

As for the character, I'm glad she comes off as believable! I was messing around with shape, realising I need to practice more wide hipped ladies for a few friends <3

I do like the visible brushstroke effect but this is still organic in appearance. Just different. Like oil paints versus watercolours. Especially in the tail I can see nice thick painty strokes. This new method is more vivid, too, so I think it comes out on top.

I will definitely have to further explore this style then! Thank you for the feed back, I really do appreciate it <3

Ohhh such wonderful hips and thighs~<3 I like the subtle coloring you have with the background too. Not just white floaty space, but nothing too detailed. I think it works with the shading you have going on the character too ^^

I don't think a picture -needs- a background. But having the subtle colors like that do make it stand out and pop ^^
