how big is it so i can figure out how big the frame should be?

my suggestion would be no larger (on the inside) than 10 3/4 x 18 3/4 inches. :) Smaller of course is up to your decision.

Hmm, we don't call them peepers here. We just call them yuppies, tourists, or city folk. We're so boring. :D

any other time of the year they're Massholes, damn NewYorkers, f'ing tourists, flatlanders... etc...

You should see I-95 S on sunday afternoons... O_O there's one ME state plate for every 15 MA plate, and the traffic is nearly stopped all the way from the bridge to the toll booth (after york).

Hehe being from Mt Washington valley... I kinda wish I had a dragon like that to take care of some leaf peepers. Hehe still, can't blame people for wanting to see the foliage I guess. Excellent work on this one though(as well as many of your others). I really love the way your coloring and especially your detail capture the look of a forest from up high. The close trees showing their individual leaves and branches, but fading to a sea of pillowy canopy that looks like a moss you could just step out and walk over.

If your photos didn't already show it, this image alone shows that you're an artist who's actually been to many a summit and gazed out over the wilderness. I'd say 'keep up the good work' but the many images in your gallery show you've done just thank. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. :)

It would just be so awesome to get to the top of Adams, Jefferson, and Garfield so fast!!! Adams and Garfield have been my favorites. At least leaf peoples number fewer than the summertime massholes that raid up north and putter around like they own the place. Seriously, I wish they'd just leave their money at the border.

Man, just imagine if I revisited this piece with what I know now!!! I will be doing another landscape though- I want to finish it as close to x-mas as possible for my mother. It's a panorama looking off of Peaks Island in Maine.
