Traditional Commission for

A traditional commission, believe it or not! Like most artists all of my work used to be with good ol' pen and paper, but lately you wouldn't know it. I don't usually offer traditional commissions unless someone asks for it specifically, but I must say that it was quite a treat for me after working with my tablet for such a long stretch. Sometimes it's nice to bust out the paintbrushes and colored pencils and just go to town. :)
About the piece itself; the commissioner gave me a theme to work with (Madagascar) and a link to her character, and the rest of the details were up to me. I LOVE artistic freedom commissions so I had a great time, putting her character in semi-traditional dress and interacting with a black lemur (which I'm sure most of you know is a Madagascar-exclusive species.) Anyway, I had a lot of fun so I hope you guys like it too. :)

Aww, thank you! :) I had a ton of fun with the coloring so I'm glad you like it too! :D Price-wise something like this would be around $60 (shipping included!), but I'd of course need to hear your idea to give you a solid number.
