I did my leg and traced where the foam would be.
If you could please comment and tell me what i could do better much will be appreciated
Also, what foam do I use?! I'm so lost. ;o;

acutally this is a good way to learn, really. Padding placement is crucial. however, just be aware that if you have it over the back of your knee along with on the front, mobility will be much more difficult. As for foam. Try doing a google search for polyfoam. Or check your local Jo Ann fabrics store, back in the upholstery section there should be plenty of green sheet foam to choose from ;)
I thought it might be, this is my second attempt at foaming legs, defiantly learned my lesson the first time and also learned to use the right foam. And yes I noticed that the foam would be going over my knee and behind it, a actually like this look. Also thanks for letting me know about the foam, I thought just any foam would do. Haha I was wrong.
Thanks again for your post~!

A also agree with Ritz. While it doesn't seem like a good idea to add padding to the bum (I'm self concious about my bum too lol) It really really does help with the illusion of digi-legs. It balances it all out. And while having padding over the knee and behind it does indeed look good, its not for everyone as it restricts movement an immense amount. Just wanted ya to be aware of that ;)
No problem! Best of luck finding what ya need.

very good shape. if you want, you can also use a teeny bit of padding over the butt area x3
it may be hard to transfer this onto a 3d foam piece, which is why i stick foam directly to a dummy and use masking tape to make a patternm off of it.
as for the foam, any high-density open cell foam works. you can use memory foam, green upholstery foam, or you can even sew the leg like that and make a pocket to just put stuffing into. i use stuffing cause its generally easier to move and not as heat-trapping :3
hope that helped

get it from joanns/hancock, any fabric store really. color depends on what store you go to, but as long as its high desity open cell, it doesnt matter x3 its jusy upholsery foam.
you may be able to find it on ebay as well. memory foam works too.
only thing is foam is pretty pricey, $10 for a 1/2 inch yard of it. youll spend a lot on leg padding :U
