Finally, a look at Maryn's scaly side! She's not a very big dragon, but she's a dragon none the less. Here she is with her pet troll, Lonnie. To be fair, he's more of a co-worker than a pet, but he doesn't mind the affection. In fact, he quite likes it. (I'm sure you can find him in various states of undress in other places in my gallery.)
This is a pencil drawing from 2010 (I think). I found it, pulled it out of my sketchbook, and tossed some color on it to make it look nice for the new site. It's been a while since I've done digital coloring at this level for anything other than work related purposes. I'm actually quite pleased! It's a definite improvement over my older digital works! Painted up in Photoshop CS5.5
Maryn and Lonnie are mine and my husband's Shadowrun characters. Rawr!

Whatever happened to the old runner's wisdom to "never deal with a dragon"? Though, considering what we saw in the other pictures, I think I can see why he chose to ignore that.
I have to say, I find it quite interesting and can't help to wonder how a dragon would actually fit in a Shadowrun game as PC, both from a point of balance and a point of motivation from the dragon's side.
Aside from all that, it's quite the lovely picture! :3

LOL! Oh, that's still good advice. Maryn's team has wished they'd heeded it many a time. Usually when they run into another dragon. But she can also be a fun dragon to deal with ;D
As for how she fits in a game, well it's easier since she's a very very young and relatively low powered dragon. She's got an interesting past which helps her fit into the games easy enough. It helps that my husband is our primary GM and I'm the most frequent player. :D Also, I do everything I can to avoid being a power gamer. The reason I play a dragon is because I just really REALLY like dragons and letting me play one was the only way he could get me to even give Shadowrun a try in the first place XD
But enough rambling! Thank you kindly for the compliment!
