Just a sneak peek/ update on my current costume project.

The last time I let you guys in on my work it looked like this.

I failed at making the body suit myself being that when I sewed the orange fabric onto the blue cotton-like zentai suit, it caused it to "shrink" because I didn't give it much "give". When I put on the suit, I was struggling to move and was thinking "GOOD GOD! >.O !!! " . So I decided to go with a trusted zentai site (the ones that made my Sock Monkey suit):

They are excellent for getting custom costumes...though they are pricey for the plain suits.

The helmet is made of ABS piping compound, that was then sanded down smoothly (to the best of my ability) and spray painted with a primer, then finishing coat. The eyes are made of radio speaker metal mesh, and the red center eye was part of a fake diamond jewelry earring holder. I had to be creative when doing the black indented markings around the helmet. I taped paper to the helmet, marked it with a pencil, removed the paper and then used a blade to finely cut the lines and later used a permanent fine marker to fill in. The 'TOKUGAWA' name was done by making a stencil, coloring the letters in by pencil while it was taped in place...then I removed it and used black fabric paint to make the letters more visible. The other red dots were done with red model paint.
