Pencils and paint and such are messy and don't scan well thanks to my cheap scanner.

I know what you mean, though. And I do love traditional media, but it was actually cheaper to get the tablet than to get myself everything I would need since moving out of my parents' house where my sister's old supplies were. =/

Well yes, but the writer's art doesn't change much depending on medium. Digital art is vastly different from traditional, and if I had the means I would be dabbling in both.

In any case, without the computer I wouldn't be able to read any of your fabulous work, so I'm glad you've got one! ^_^

thank you for that hun... but... *remembers when...

my first attempt at a book was on a small portable keypounder - I have a dictionary at home the size of a small bedroom - and my spelling stinks. Trust me this is so much easier - the net gives you information at your fingertips... and wow... that makes such a difference. Now then... I would never use a voice to type program, but a good writing friend I have does... he says it's absolutely wonderful.

Oh heavens yes it's easier, spell check and internet research... but the actual writing doesn't change much.

My mate uses a dictation program... I couldn't do that. It's... cumbersome, to me. But it helps him out, so I guess it's all taste, right?
