Marlboro Golds actually used to be called Lights for a very long time! However, around the start of 2011, I believe, they changed it over to GOLDS because Marlboro was dealing with lots of lawsuits of false advertizing. People assumed LIGHTS meant a safer, "healthier" cigarette!
