Done for my final in Illustration class. I wanted to do something using my character from Shades of Grey, since I've been working on the development of this comic all year long in my sketchbooks. My instructor suggested I do something based off from the comic for my final since I seemed so focused on it at the time. So I decided to make a sort of promotional poster/cover art or something along those lines. I wanted to really make it look more fantasy based, adding wings and a crystal like city in the background making him look like the whole angelic knight or something. X3 Though after I had it printed and matted, I took a step back and realized the wings look like they're part of the horse instead =_= that wasn't supposed to happen... but oh well. I loved working on this piece, he didn't originally have the wings but I think that it really just tied the picture together putting them there and throwing in floating feathers...... <3<3<3 I love this thing so much I'm going to take the big print and hang it in my room when I get the chance I'm proud of how it turned out flaws and all.
