Four Leaves - An Irish Medley for String Quartet and Bass
Here's a medley of 4 types of Traditional Irish tunes, written for Two Violins, a Viola, a Cello and a Bass. I've always loved Irish music, and since my camp is focusing on String Quartets this summer, I thought, hey, why not Irish Fiddle music?
Here, I've present four different styles: The Air, the Reel, the Hornpipe and the Jig, layered and play on top of each other for some interesting effects.
