Clothing: While traveling or on mission, he typically wears a brown leather vest, a leather belt and black/brown heavy hiking boots, all modified with armor plating salvaged from his damaged armor when he first arrived on Earth. Zash also wears a durable, heat/cold resistant black material
as a sleeveless shirt, baggy black pants and arm gloves, which has the feel of silk and toughness of Kevlar. His most recognizable feature is his medical metal cuffs that produces his seemingly endless supply of fresh nanites, which also keeps him alive.

(Ageless): Zash's Dark Matter Core, produces enough power to his medical bracers to create a constant stream of fresh nanites over time, thus constantly regenerating him and preserving+maintaining the Synthetic brain in his head. As long as Zash can maintain his body, he won't die from aging.
Zash can technically die though, but his nanites preserve key memory cells in his head from death and decay, reactivating them when he has regenerated enough. As long as Zash wears his medical bracers, the new nanites evolve and eventually reanimate him, making him slightly stronger from before. Zash has 'died' 11 times over his lifetime. Depending on the injury that caused his 'death' it can takes two to seven days to fully recover and wake back up. Luckily for him and others around him, his Dark Matter Core has multiple fail-safes, preventing catastrophic core failure upon core rupture or overheating if his body dies.
(Dark Matter Overheat): Zash must be active 12+ hours a day, or risk lethal overheating, thus causing unconsciousness then death unless the energy can be discharged another way. The heat would be soo intense, his bracers could potentially melt, thus ending him permanently. However one of the fail safes, eventually turns off the core upon a certain temperature, so there is a very very low chance the overheat will only kill Zash's body, giving him a chance to regenerate and thus reanimate. This amount of energy also makes it impossible for him to ever sleep or rest for long periods.
(Temperature Resistance): Being a synthetic, external extreme heat or extreme cold doesn't effect Zash too much.
(Vacuum Immunity and Toxic Environment Resistance): Zash can survive in space and technically doesn't need to breath for extended periods, his nanites can collect and retain oxygen and other beneficial gasses for hours.
(Disease Immunity): Being a synthetic, Zash is immune to organic viruses.
(EMP, CME, and Ion Vulnerability): Being a synthetic, Zash can be either paralyzed, disoriented, or significantly damaged by severe electrical or magnetic interference.
Weapons: Zash's nanites are his primary weapons, and last line of defense. His nanites can become any tool or ability, taken or mimicked from battling and defeating superior enemies. Here are his most commonly used weapons and defenses.

However it's only good for several impacts, the blade's nanites can weaken and shatter and will take time to regenerate fully. Zash can also heat the blade or cool the blade to extremes, making this a very nasty elemental weapon, but such an augmentation and deplete Zash's nanite supply quickly, so he uses this ability rarely.
(Nanite Barrier): With the help of the Dark energy given off by Zash's core and his nanites he can project a powerful barrier, protecting his allies, however each impact kills more and more nanites, thus only giving Zash a limited amount of time to keep up a barrier. The larger the radius, the less attacks it can withstand since it's spread soo thin.
(Nanite Drill): Perfect for deep armor penetration and quick escapes.
(Nanite Chains): His most effective weapon, Zash's nanites can form into thick, super durable chains, capable of tearing opponents to shreds or acting as a last ditch barrier. Zash can also use it as a tool to leap across large ravines or scale walls, or heat up the chains to the consistency of plasma, which he can twirl around himself to heat the air around close by enemies if he's surrounded, either shredding machines or causing heat exhaustion in organics.
(Force Grip): Using Dark Energy and nanites to guide that energy, Zash can throw objects and people with potentially catastrophic force. Zash can also make himself hover for a bit to make kids laugh and impress the ladies.
(Shred Vortex): Zash can use Dark Energy and his nanites to rip apart organics and shred up armor.
(Crimson Archon State): In desperate times, Zash's Dark Matter core and genetics are unlocked and he explodes into a fiery red rage, creating a monster and a super heated aura around him. This also makes Zash incredibly strong and fast for a short time, at a price. Zash cannot control this form easily and it's too unstable, if he is in it for too long, Zash will lose himself in rage and after that, his core will explode violently since the fail safes shackles are offline during this time.
Strengths:
With a powerful AI CPU processor in his head, Zash can easily hack terminals and other inferior machines, making him a perfect asset for sabotage and infiltration missions. Another strength with being a machine is his super durable body and superior stamina, even if Zash lacks in strength and speed, he can take one hell of a beating and just keep coming back up for more punishment. Also, Zash's superior awareness of his surroundings and ability to judge and analyze opponents and their attacks makes it very difficult for enemies to hit him, adding to Zash's dexterity. However, Zash's greatest strength is his ability to persuade and manipulate others through his charisma and silver tongue. Only individuals with a strong willpower can resist him.

Zash can easily be immobilized by Electrical discharges and magnetic weapons. Ion weapons are most especially effective, since they can severely damage and freeze him in place. As for combat, his lack of brute strength and speed makes him an ineffective front line fighter, and relies on his team members to do the main fighting, in one on one fights, he needs to rely on wearing down an opponent until they submit. Socially, Zash's optimism and care-free attitude can make him too trusting and therefore can be double crossed fairly easily. Only when he's focused like he is in combat can he read someone, and most of the time, that isn't the case.

Ty very much sir, and not that I have a problem with hedgehog characters, I mean sheesh, Zash started out like that when he first came out. So hey it's a nice base, ppl should just try to move away from it while they develop their character into something a bit more unique. :3
Heh. I understand this is quite the old picture, but the story surrounding him is quite cyberpunkish. I like it.
The use of nanites here sounds to me like something on the level of like.. Deus Ex.
