Ooh, I remember seeing the preview pages for this. The finished stuff is magnificent! Especially the Page 2-3 spread showing the Arkworld itself. I love the classic but slightly alien look of the figurehead of the ark. Also, the map kind of makes me think of Discworld, but with definitely more of a clear purpose.
I love flat worlds for fantasy settings~ flying in the face of physics and giving in to magic. In my mind fantasy needs to be just that, fanciful till it oozes unicorns.
