This is probably one of my best to-date. I did it for a contest on dA for  SW_Lupus a while ago. Here's what I wrote on the original submission:

This entry is based on this passage from the story:

"His world rights itself revealing a large clawed lupine foot on the edge of his vision. He finds the foot is attached to a leg, the leg to hips, and then abdomen and chest with a lupine head nestled amongst a shaggy mane. His pointed muzzle hides sharp white teeth, but those silver eyes show no threat.

At least that's how I imagine it is for him, a fearsome appearance for one so tormented..."

This passage stuck out to me for a couple reasons. One of which is because it's the first time we hear the werewolf get described. It's interesting because it's the werewolf describing himself, but how he imagines the man he is standing over must be seeing it. So, I wanted to try and depict what that man must have been seeing.

Despite the werewolf holding no malicious intentions, imagine how terrified that guy must be, looking up to see this dude standing over him, looking down curiously. To him, YOU are the freak. And even though he doesn't mean it, no matter how he looks at you or holds himself, to a human laying dying in the forest, everything he does will look terrifying.
