Hello there! This is a piece that is slightly different from me. This is my character Chrome in space obviously.

I'm going to be honest, as the title states, I've been greatly inspired to do this piece from a song called "Nox Aurumque" by Eric Whitacre. Nox Aurumque means golden night in Latin. Ooooh goodness when I heard this song, I got this image stuck in my head and I had to paint Chrome like this! I LOVE Eric Whitacre's music so much!

It was fun to color over the gouache with the coloring pencils (because I've learned that Prismacolors look best with other mediums). But the most fun was making the stars in the background. Those were done with paint and a toothbrush! I dabbed the toothbrush quickly on the paper and used my thumb to splatter the paint. And believe me, it was messy but worth it! XD
