Today is the one-year anniversary of that raccoon attempting to steal our crate of Cheetos on a camping trip. We thought it would go for just a bag, but no, it wanted the whole crate!

So what’s the significance of such an anniversary? Well, the next day was the Joplin tornado, and I happen to live there. The hurricane storyline is unrelated to our tornado, but I decided this would be a good time to put it and a good time to introduce the raccoon character(who actually IS related to the tornado). The raccoon has actually been in a comic already. You might have seen it in this strip.
