Tangerine was bred last season but had produced all slugs (slugs = unfertilized eggs). It turns out that the male she was with had a problem with sterility before, and it proved out that time when all eggs were bad. This year she bred to a different male (sterile male was placed into a pet home) and produced ten very healthy eggs. She has good weight to her and I am happy to see these. These begin a very long project for me. (Oh, when she laid slugs last year she laid about 13).
I am excited, to say the least. THe daddy was a normal with unknown genetic backgrounds, so who knows what might pop out of these kiddos.
I will be obviously keeping a few out of these. The rest however will be available for adoption after they hatch, feed five times and shed twice. =)

This one I'm not sure. The one who usually lays a lot of eggs is "StreaK' the anery stripe. She laid 19, and usually doubles.
The one I'm waiting on is the mystery clutch. She was purchased by her previous owner as an "Ultramel Anery". when she was bred before, the babies that came out weren't what she was expecting..so we have NO idea what she is. I've been told she's a "Ultramel Anery" or a "ghost". More lean towards the ultramel anery. Which is why I paired her with the Ultramel Motley...;so who knows what happens this time!
