you can still "overexpose" digital, its an easy fix tho with photoshop
Photoshop: bring the image into camera raw mode and adjust exposure; if you use a version that doesnt have camera raw, use the levels adjustment to bring in your tonal range
for fixing the contrast i would recommend bringing your light tones down a bit
maybe some slight dodging and burning to also help w contrast
color wise i might either take away a bit of blue and add a hare of red, but the screen i'm looking at isnt calibrated so i might be completely wrong x.x
