Sometimes Braenwyen would fly deep into the deserts of Grandesque just to find the place where the rocks sing.

This started as a random speed-painting that wasn't even supposed to be representational. However, after a few minutes of smooshing digital paint around I got the urge to paint rocks and this all sort of appeared from that. I'd say that this was a little bit of "therapy art" because I was really stressed out when I started it and for some reason painting or drawing rocks is really relaxing for me.

After I'd painted in most of the rocks and the entrance to the cave I realized that I liked this, so I added Braenwyen to it because I need practice painting her.

And that's about that.
