Otter doing soemthing useful when a camera us around!

Not just Camera! Run away before it can focus!

XD i assume they aren't normally very active then?

Activity depends on the species of otter...

European otters are often quite reclusive so often not out doing stuff, while Asian short claws are kind of hyperactive and too busy doing stuff..
The trouble with getting good photographs is that the otters often don't stay still, or stay doing the same interesting thing for long enough to get a photograph shot lined up.

Most of the pictures I have posted were taken while the otters were distracted by food.
