I thought so as well. I was walking down the trail and all the sudden I spot that red leaf in the middle of a bunch of leaves unlike it and totally different color. Thats the first thought that popped into my head. And then I knew I had to have a picture of it.

Thanks, you know...I really dont know about all the tools that a photographer can use at his/her disposal. I havent taken classes or anything...I probably should. x.x Ive only been doing Photography since last November. I think I caught on pretty well. =3

Well, for having limited expirience, I think you're doing pretty good. I mean, they an teach you light and dark, and how to filter/retouch in Photoshop, but I think having a natural eye for good set-ups and interesting images helps immensely.

I'd love to take photography classes (I like taking pictures, though my pictures are amateur at the best), but I just don't have the time myself.

My pictures are amateur as well. I really want to take classes. Its more a problem of money for me

Yeah, some photo classes can be costly. Are there any offered at a local university, or any adult ed ones nearby? I know my uni has a pretty good range of photography classes from black and white photography to landscapes to portraits... oh, if I wasn't taking creative writing next semester as my elective, I'd totally take the B&W photography class.

Writing is important too. =) Id rather do photography however.

I love writing. I was always more proficient at that tan anything, really.

But I'd still love to learn photography sometime. Until then...I'll just practice on my own with my little digital.

You dont have to take a class to take pictures. =) Just keep at it!
