Overlooking Tomorrow's Yesterday
I draw scenes like this sometimes, with a sole equine drawn into a dramatic scene or place... someone for the viewer to identify with and a vessel to project thoughts into. At least, i know i identify with her.
I don't usually finish them though. ...If you can even call this drawing a finished piece of art...
The ruins glimmered softly in that wetted dry where the desert met the sea. In the lowering evening light the long shadows stretched out their tired bones as if wishing to depart and no longer be attached to the rusting vestiges of man.
