This powerless glider soars overhead during a model rocket launch on the base near Alpena Michigan. Guess they didn't heed the NOTAMS.

Yeah that happened a lot to us during our High Power launches which is why its good to have spotters. They being experimental mostly never seem to listen or check the NOTAMS :)

It's a challenge when they come over at tree-top level and they make no sound.

oh yeah, try a piper cub descending at 15% power from behind for a low pass O.o very quiet.
