Info: Continuing with exploring new genres and moods with my soundtrack and with this I tinkered with classic RnB and lounge/jazz with some reoccurring melodies from the OST. I had this near complete about 2 weeks ago but as school has really been ratcheting up, I haven't had time to mix and master until today. Hope you like the different style even though it's pretty short ^^
Description: Folks need to unwind! The stresses and challenges of the day are too much for a guy or gal without some unwinding, even for heroes! Preventing a wide-spread war between humans and animals is important but so is knocking down a few drinks! Any heroes worth their salt knows you can't go all day slaying monsters and leveling up without letting your dogs take a rest. So chill, sit back, polish your armor (or wash those stained robes for mages) and recharge that HP & MP!

I am still listening to this. What the hell? Downloaded and everything. You know, you could almost swing this as an after-victory theme for the more technological side of your story. Like, after the initial fanfare, it could go onto this in menu screens. I am rambling because I love this song. xD
Hmmm that's odd, I wrote them all in the same key. I do use some dominant 7ths for a little dissonance and I felt it was a reasonable amount of clashing with the main melody. Also I used live string samples in clusters and slightly out of tune which adds realism and avoid a machine gun effect. As for the synths, I guess that's all a matter of personal taste. Some songs with certain synths I can't stand while others love it.
