For everybody asking about why not this character or that character, I should point out that this was a mass produced DVD and any cartoons that were still in copyright had to be left off the video.

I ended up taking a look a Paddy Pelican out of curiosity... Only to end up throwing up out of sheer disgust 2 minutes in.

I just went to YouTube and looked up Paddy Pelican.

For anyone else who was curious like I was: DON'T DO IT. It's five minutes of your life you will never get back.

I started watching it, then realized, oh yeah...I saw this piece of crap before.

The first short I saw was "Two Wet Bears," which was as just a bad. It looks like they just animated a handful of loops and told the actors to keep talking as long as the characters were onscreen (and don't worry if you have something interesting to say or not).

I'd pay a dollar for that video! But I never saw it in the local Korean dollar stores, unfortunately... Must have been tough deciding on a finite number of cartoons to include -- I mean, every Spunky & Tadpole cartoon ever made has a right to be on it.

Oh jeese. I do remember seeing Pow Wow the Indian boy decades ago on the old KBMA channel 41 from Kansas City (a regional "superstation"). I'm so tempted to google for the other ones.

I just watched paddy pelican because of this submission...

now I look at this cover and I imagine is him being like:

"oh no this sure is punishment why did I make such bad cartoons and now here I am having to write 'i will not make bad cartoons' over and over again on this chalkboard what grueling punishment this is for me why are they making me do this I don't understand why there are worse cartoons than the one I made at least I got movements and I can express myself like here I am crying because crying is an expression and I am very sad because i am being disciplined and well it's not going to finish itself so here I go lifting up the chalk and writing the words that I was required to on the board many times over again I just need to keep writing so I can finish and then have a nice dinner with my friends oh boo hoo this is hard work"
