looking at the pieces, it probably wouldn't work now that i think about it XD

After I switched from using a patch holder to a jag, I never went back. I can't stand patch holders. Absolutely garbage at getting good contact with the inside of the barrel.

Also a brass jag won't scratch the barrel. Softer metal won't scratch harder metal!

well, the softer to harder metal seems kinda obvious. Although I can imagine that being such a seemingly common sense thing that you'd still have to explain it to people. lol
