Trying to noodle up art show ideas for AC. And tried my hand at drawing up a Aussie 7th Armored Division Desert rats soldier.
Charging towards his foe, be it German or Italian, our member of the 6th Australian Division, also known as the 'Diggers' gained a well earned reputation in the North African desert for being a tough and determined fighter.
I also armed our Boomer with a SMLE MKIII.

Grandad was there, plus 2 grand uncles. My grandfather was the only one who got back. Took an artillery case fragment to his hip while apaprently serving his 6lber AT gun SOLO - kept serving the gun until help arrived. Invaided back out (and never walked properly again, poor chap).
