This was a gift pic for  athelind of himself. This one took some doing because of the fur and the coloration, both of which are much more complex than my usual subject matter. I think it came out really well, though! If nothing else, this pic has taught me the plight of portrait painters commissioned by easterns. No doubt a great many of them have been devoured after failing to finish the portrait because their paws fell off due to the abundance of fur.
