This was a gift pic for
athelind of himself. This one took some doing because of the fur and the coloration, both of which are much more complex than my usual subject matter. I think it came out really well, though! If nothing else, this pic has taught me the plight of portrait painters commissioned by easterns. No doubt a great many of them have been devoured after failing to finish the portrait because their paws fell off due to the abundance of fur.

Thank you! Hopefully I can use what I learned in this pic in future drawings. Most of the folks I draw are dragons with far more limited color variation than our friend here, so the change of pace was a welcome (if difficult) challenge. :P
And easterns are indeed wonderful. Athelind is quite a fine specimen of their breed if I do say so myself!
