This morning my sister found our rabbit dead in his cage.
I really don't know what else to say. Velvet was the best bun loaf I could ever ask for.

I believe he died of old age, or I hope he did. Velvet was with us for at least six years. We have no idea how old he was or where he came from. One day we just found him hopping around in our yard. Of course we had to chase him a bit to actually catch him, but nothing that a few carrots couldn't do.

He never bit anyone. Velvet did not liked being picked up though, which resulted in scratched up, and even bleeding arms. But worth it.

Sadie didn't mind him either, she was actually scared of him! XD

If you scratched his butt, Velvet would give you kisses. He would nudge your hand if you stopped petting his head. Velvet was the softest rabbit I have ever met.
