This is the first, and very rough, entry into my created genre of poetry, entropic poetry. I know, it sounds exceedingly pretentious, but I'll explain myself.
I wanted to create a form of poetry that was equal parts order and chaos. A structured set-up with internal parts that shift with every poem one writes.
This poem is of the sub-genre of cartomancy--meaning, defined by playing cards. The structure is this: a deck of fifty-two cards and three jokers (though the amount of jokers you can use is mutable). Each card's suit and value denotes rhyme scheme and, in this case, syllable count for each line. Jokers denote a stanza break, which resets the rhyme scheme.
Chaos and order, in a poem's bones. Also it's really rough, but I wanted to get this out there.
