Having worked in a call center for going on 9 months now, I find Arty of "Vinci & Arty" one of the most sympathetic characters ever. I've been meaning to do some fanart for "Vinci & Arty" for a while and with my pony kick, I decided to have a go at pony!Arty. Also thought the Dewalts could use a bit of cheering up today if possible. Hope this makes you guys smile.

Hah! I'll have to check that out. I'm generally around tumblr following Clients From Hell
There's hard, and then there's: 'How is it even legal for you to be alive when you're this much of a moron?' I'll say the majority of the customers I help don't fall into that category, but some of them... Definitely an interesting job, though! I'm just so glad they aren't using Skype for most call centers yet. That will be a mournful day for the employees. At least at the moment, I can rage!flail out of sight while keeping my voice cheery and accommodating.
*bFAIOJFOQMCQ&* Cookie crumbs came out my nose... Holy goodness is this amazing. Double-plus awesome love to you! What a surprise. 8) 8)
I love the text you wrote, Oh the pain of tech support! And a unicorn? hah! As Vinci says, he definitely princesses about like Rarity enough as is.
Much love!

Hah! I think I've heard that horror story, as well. It's amazing some of the things people do. I've played tech support in my position before, but I think the best horror story comes from one of my colleagues who spent an hour on the phone with a customer trying to figure out what was wrong, walking her through downloading Firefox and Adobe Flash, adjusting her browser settings, and generally troubleshooting. Finally, the lady gets fed up and hangs up. My colleague dutifully began filling out a report for IT going through everything they'd tried when the lady called in again to another colleague. Turns out she wasn't hitting the right button even though the first girl had asked her to hit the button in about 20 variations throughout their conversation.
