I will delete this shortly. its in my scraps no need to fave. Just wondering what the white stuff is. It's a brand new ESC as in I got and put it in today.

looks like it might be dielectric grease, fi its gooey. If its hard, its just a resin/glue.

That's what I was thinking it was but I think something maybe bad if its leaking out. I'm just worried is all I put down a good some for it.

I agree - see if it's gooey.

Possible that it was applied by the manufacturer as re-work to a defective unit that was leaking voltage?

It is gooey. Bit the entire unit is brand new. traxxas won't resell reman'd units.

I'd give Traxxas a call or check out their forums. Someone else maybe had a similar issue?

Nitro are nice but they suck to use. Have to clean them always, tune for the weather buy file ect ect. Thanks for the link tho. I'm running on my cell only right now so it helps. Also thanks for the watch.
