Because I LOVE the Avatar: the Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra series! It was only a matter of time before I started drawing my own characters in that world, and Tuyen, being a colourful Asian mustelid, fits very well! She's a yellow-throated marten and very fierce! Earth is her element, and I bet you shouldn't piss her off!

Yes that's true, as you can see in her ref pic here http://charahub.s3-website-us-east-.....643e5bd7fd.png her dark colours are supposed to be darker than this. But you know how it goes with traditional media and scanners, haha I do kinda like this version too though, I haven't completely settled on her design yet. But thanks! :)
