Every so often I get a call from a Calvin Klein rep who knows me, to come and paint on things as a sales hook when they're pushing new products. For Mother's Day, they had potted orchids they were giving away with purchase of a certain fragrance. I spent several days painting cheesy one-stroke style flowers onto ceramic pots and personalizing them for customers. These were some of my favorites, from the many, many that I did. The cherry blossom motif ended up working particularly well. Usually they just have me painting on the perfume bottles themselves, though. Yes. That's Fluttershy's cutie mark on one of those. I was really bored that day. =D

I was kind of amazed by how many people were boggled by my little made-up flower doodles. c.c Maybe it's just me, but seriously, this stuff is easy to paint. Kinda felt like I was cheating. XDD Most of this is from this past weekend.
