Ah... I believe that's the one that's endangered because the wild pigs on the islands provide too much food (piglets) for some big nasty eagles, whose population has exploded. When not eating piglets they eat "foxlets" (and the adults too).
Sunday I found a freshly road killed gray fox. A young vixen about 5 months old. Very little visible damage and a very pretty girl. Took a bunch of photos. I should post them for artist reference. She was over 3 feet long, with tail, but then she had a very long tail.
I understand the Channel Island fox is small. Any idea how big your fox is?
