there is this video piece (and a photo series actually!) by an artist named Carrie Schneider that really reminds me of this drawing. It's called slowdance and it's about a couple in a bar who dance together and get enveloped within a larger human mass. There is also a photo series about the artist and her twin brother posing together/on top of eachother performing actions together.
