I decided to upload the flat color before I try any texture or effects in case I hate how they turn out. More will be coming.

A little more detail about this partial transformation: As you can see, there are patches of his skin that transformed and others that did not. The haphazard placement of these patches owes, I think, to his frame of mind. Also, though you can't see it from just a drawing, his wings and tail have shrunk but not disappeared. I think, for the purpose of the story, I may make him even more screwed up-- have his wings be different sizes or have one gone altogether, have his gryphon feet structured differently from his human leg, that kind of thing.
