While disco on a whole was a failed experiment as a musical style, it did have its flashes of brilliance, and the Bee Gees were responsible for most of them. Other notables are the Trammps, who did "Disco Inferno", Walter Murphy and Meco, who did discofied classics like "A Fifth of Beethoven". Out of the disco genre, the music that I liked tended to be instrumental.
