Lucien is a character from a project of mine, a novel that I've been trying to plot for a couple of years now that is finally coming together. I won't go into details, but this is a boy who is naturally a gryphon, that can shift between being anthropomorphic and fully gryphon. His father hates him for being born a gryphon, and after overhearing an argument about himself, Lucien tries his hardest to shift into a normal boy. Obviously, he mostly failed. I don't know if I'll actually include this in the novel or not, but I rather liked the idea of this poor boy trying so hard to please his father. Anyway, hopfully it'll be clearer when I've got it colored.
