I'm kicking off my one week pescetarian diet in style. I am super proud of this one, so decided to share it.

Cedar planked salmon, shrimp skewers, brown rice salad, and caesar bowtie salad.

A friend and I bought half of a fresh Alaskan wild caught salmon, which hurt the wallet a bit, but hey..we're indulging here. It looked so good it was hard not to just nibble on it raw, but we restrained ourselves.

Seasoned with a little dill and lemon, and drizzled lightly with olive oil. On a fish this good you don't want to season it more than you have to. Cedar planked it on the grill. Came out amazing, best salmon I ever had.

The shrimp we added just a tiny smidgen of the same seasoning and a small amount of butter and wrapped in foil, also came out great.

I'll admit to buying the two salads, but the specialty market that makes them (same place that has the awesome cuts of meat and fish) does an amazing job at it, so it's all good ;3
