11 x 14 color pencil
My camera, as always, messed with the color. The blue in this piece should be turquoise. Quite different and looks better.
I'm laying out her spots right now, thats the hard part of her body left.
This pic is progressing quite rapidly... for me anyway.
As always, critiques and suggestions are welcome.

A suggestion for the camera trouble: most cameras these days have a "user white balance" function. To use it, you'll need a sheet of empty white paper, that you should put in the same lighting conditions that the object you want to photograph. Then you enable this function and take a snapshot of an empty white area. The camera will then adjust settings to make white look like white.
If you let me know what camera brand and model you have, I'll try to dig out how the function is actually called and how to access it.

along with what mora is saying, you need to take these kind of photos in natural light, it doesn't 'have' to be outside, but if you notice that when I took photos of your doll in my white chair (2:30 am with a lamp shining on it) and then again early this morning with natural morning light, you can see the quality difference. If you can only use a camera to show your work, I highly recommend trying to get the final works photographed outside somewhere ^_^
when i finally get the artwork you did for me, I can scan it in and let you upload the jpeg if you'd like :)
