Today we went to the Maritime Museum to go see the Titanic Exhibit while we were there we got greeted by Merlin, a friendly and beautiful parrot who lives there to show what kind of birds pirates had back in those days. He kept on playing peek-a-boo with my camera and posing for it, such a handsome man he was! Makes me want to get a parrot someday <33

Looks like a Catalina Macaw. A cross of a Blue & Gold and a Scarlet. I always wanted a parrot as well but 1. it will live longer than me 2. its a perpetual toddler. So I settle for watching Bibi at https://www.bibisteps.com Shes such a joy to watch and so so smart. Ive learned a whole lot about caring for parrots by watching how her owners take care of her.
Yah I thought for a moment he could be a Scarlet Macaw as well, I grew up with birds my whole life and he was such a beautiful boy, very handsome. They are very smart and he kept playing peek-a-boo with my camera, but very interesting site I will have to check it out, thanks!!
