Well, i did it with gouashe and lil' brash. And it took me 5 days

Needless to say, it's still phenominal. Great job.

The colors! The chaos! So awesome!

You paint and draw in several radically different styles (cartoony; 19th-Century illustrative; the -- for want of a better term! -- Chagall-Grosz-Bruno Schulz-reminiscent style shown here, and so on) yet you seem at ease with all of them. Have you had any formal arts training?

An interesting context for the picture!

Pushkin is a source of great frustration for those of us who cannot read Russian: very few good translations exist in English. But I could always try French.... :)

Is French translation better that inglish?

Sometimes; so much depends on the translator.

I have been told that many German translations are famous for their scholarship and fidelity to the original language, but over the past twenty years, I have forgotten so much of the German that I once knew. Languages demand full attention, or else they run away. :(

You draw perfect legs. I love, LOVE the sword fighting fellow with those wicked sea foam curls. Wow.

Guh! I notice something new in this painting every second! It's like the characters are hiding and then they suddenly jump out at you!

and what intriguing characters they are! The bumblebee woman in the background is...fantastic. I love it. I love all of it. Passionately.

Oh yes, the characters is really easy, indeed. All that is needed: just to look around.
