Alexandra Cosplays - Harry Dresden, Professional Wizard
Well, not totally; I don't imagine Harry would wear a dress or stockings, but the atmospheric basis remains the same.
Anyone else here read the Dresden Files?
At two in the morning? xD
Harry Dresden belongs to Jim Butcher. Alexandra is mine.

The TV show was more along the lines of an Alternate Universe Dresden Files. They purposefully made changes to it so it wouldn't spoil the books and to give people another view.
Personally, I think that someone needs to do the series in the format of book-based movies. It'd do more justice to the series.
Another thought on the picture: Who would be happier, Bob or Mister? ((Somehow doubt Mouse would approve))

Yeah, you're definitely right on that. The books didn't need rearranging; the guy practically writes the stuff economically enough to be the director.
Hahahah! Wow. I didn't even consider that. I bet Mister's welcoming tackle would become even more forceful, in the vein of 'one day I'll knock her to the ground.' xD But Bob's reaction? I can practically hear it in my head!
"Bob. Dresden loaned you to me. Wake up, Bob, we've got work to do."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm awake, I'm awake, I'm-..... in love! Hellooo, Mountains of Mirth!"
"Ugh. Bob..."
"Harry said you'd be different, but a catgirl with huge bazooms?? Now here's a wizard I can work with!"
"Bob."
"Oh, the things I'll teach you! What first? Love potions, lust spells, the old disintegrating scarf trick? The British accent is really hot, by the way."
"*stomps toward him* BOB!"
"Yes, yes you do. *follows her with bouncing orange eyelights* :D"

You read the Dresden files?!
I loved those books!
I've only read the first few, but I really like Butchers sense of humor and creativity. And the depth and complexity of his works is intriguing.
I don't like the direction he's taking though; he's giving more and more of an impression that humanity isn't capable of doing anything right unless they have help from a higher power.
There's a thin line between thinking you have to be strong to protect what you love, and thinking you have to be strong to deserve to be loved...
A very thin line.
Call me an iconoclast if you will, but I'm stubborn about things like human nature. (let's face it, I don't really have any other hobbies, now do I?)

That means a lot, thanks. I will. :)
A friend of mine introduced me to Jim Butcher's work, and I'm very impressed with him.
Ugh, said friend however has developed an obsession teasing me, claiming that their are analogues between me and Dresden.
I know he only does it to annoy me, but dammit...
It's working.
