Just looking the amount of details you've used here makes my head spin... x.=.x And not only that: your inking hand is also enoughly stable so that it won't make any sort of mistakes at all, something a person like me with a rougher inking style happens only wishes to have.
I can only wonder what kind of heartattack I get when I see the fully colored and finished piece of this 9.=.9

Well, thanks very much!! ^__^ Though, as you can see, there ARE some more or less "quick" and rather" rubbish parts, as well. But yeah, I can work with pen and ink pretty well by now. XD
Also, the lines do not look perfectly clean... sure, it is liquid INK on real PAPER!!! ^_^
But this is the flair of traditional work...

True, scanner usually detects the smallest parts and makes it look bit more "rougher" than it's supposed to be, making it look like you've done the inking on MS Paint, but from farther awawy, that's not so easy to be detected.
And unch - real paper and real ink, my weakpoint of all times: you screw it up once, you've screwed up everything and have to start over again @.=.x;;;

So far, so good:

very good use of perspective and dynamic lighting to bring the picture to focus around not only reptile, but the battlefield itself, from the looks of it, most of those bodies are his comrades, which makes the use of ravens in the upper left corner not only appropriate, yet symbolic, sort of an edgar allen poetic thing going on there. very nice work as always, I literally squea'd when I saw there was a new pic from you.
Hrhrhrhr... well, you can ease up now, 'cause the final version will take another week or so! ^^"
Thanks a lot! I'm happy you were looking forward to this.
And... even if I KNOW for sure, that MOST people will just focus on the right half of the picture (ha ha), I'm glad you also included the other half in your comment. ^^
The scene is important, after all.

Well, I did spoke to several comic publishers, really... but they didn't want me. Most of all, because of the costs!!!
It's expensive to scan all my stuff and get it translated and printed.... bla bla.
AND my fantasy topic was not appealing to them... they all preferred MANGA stuff! XD
