First of all, to Musaera, i'm sorry it took so long to upload the picture. My modem's been shot, in all the very wrong times as well, and only today have i been able to at least get some help in hopes of fixing my internet today.
Now to the juicy concept bits:
- Aerodynamics is crucial for his wind element. So no surprise that there's lots of flat edges on parts of his body.
- The "second body" behind Dusty is actually his *hair*. Whenever he's not flying by using his hair like some sort of hang-glider, the "second body" rolls up like a curtain. If you look closer, you'll also find that the markings on Dusty's front hair is actually the "second body's" face and ears.
Oh yeah, to tell you the truth, the "second body" is supposed to be flat as paper, but i guess my shading added too much volume. Swish!
- There's a pair of spinning tops that Dusty's holding between his toes. When they start spinning they'll be like some sort of rollerskates.
- Those fans on his head? They're his ears. They look small, but they can make Dusty jump very high. No problems about heat, too, because both fans are really wind-powered. :)
- This one's very easy to overlook, but Dusty's tail shrinks whenever he unfolds his hang-glider buddy. When it's not shrunk, it's quite fluffy and large, and because the fur strands on the end of his tail has wind elements in it, he's able to spin it around to glide, a bit like how Mario's raccoon tail wiggles around when he flies.
Dusty is to Musaera.
