Some old sketches I did at one of the galleries in town which was exhibiting a national art show. Clockwise from top left: (1)Based on a bust which is used to display necklaces. I went for a kind of Roswell-alien look and it was very heavily influenced by the Salarians in Mass Effect. (2)Unfinished; based on a piece of pottery. Mostly reptilian but I'm not sure where I would have gone with it. (3)Based (extremely loosely) on an ordinary desk lamp. This one is amphibious, but I wanted it to have an aristocratic look; in essence, a frog prince.
