A short story I wrote.
If anyone reads the whole thing, I'd really like to hear people's interpretations
SOME FUCKING ASSHOLE ADMIN MADE ME CHANGE THE THUMBNAIL BTW

I... Don't know if there is some weird glitch in my program or not but.. Why are there no quotation marks in your dialogue?
The paragraph format is blocky, and just....
I think I'm the only one with this pet peeve, but I really, really hate reading stories that are double lined, the format that you see in novels... Book Manuscript Format I think it's called... Is much better for me to read because it helps you grasp what is wrong, and what is right in terms of grammar and punctuation.
I do love your writing style though, your diction is very good, the atmosphere and tone of the story is also great.

Reminds me of absurdist fiction.
I interpret it as the main character in a dreamy state of unconsciousness, and having a conversation with himself. He doesn't remember anything because he's just been in a car crash with his wife and daughter. The waiters are actually his wife, who is with him all the times during his state, and he doesn't recognize his daughter because she's nowhere near him, or, as a more out-there interpretation, she wasn't a big factor in his life.
Then again, it could just be my imagination and Buckley's acting up on me.
