The logical solution in my mind would be for the reds to show in reaction to bright light, there's certainly enough of that in the desert. Plus she'd want to be mostly unnoticed at night because that's when most prey and predators are active.

The reds make her look exciting and energetic, blues look more relaxed.

If the ears and wings had a form of iridescence, they could change color depending on how much light is available.

Ahhh, I was advised not to make her change color because then people wouldn't be able to recognize her as my character, AKA as me, with would be no good for getting my name out there D:

I associate red characters with being active and outgoing, but I assume blues are shy and reserved. :3

my personality, which always changes on my environment, when I'm around my family I'm more passive-aggressive and kinda an introvert, when I'm with my husband or certain friends I'm really outgoing, still a little aggressive (I plan on going to counseling for this, or taking classes to learn how to properly react to upsetting situations)

So a more indepth look is this

I wear my emotions on my sleeves but tend to hold back my anger or depression until I finally just explode or lash out a people, but with certain situations I have no fuse at all. For the most part I'm also timid and shy, but once I trust someone I open up completely to them and tend to make the same mistake by telling them everything, my thoughts, and my feelings, even if they do not want to hear it. ^^; I guess this maybe why I do not have many friends, because in the beginning people love that I'm blunt and speak my mind, but later they tend to resent this trait I'm having difficulties curbing ;>>

Lol, it is the same ammount of colors, I just changed the color scheme on the ears and wings xD

still, i loke the blue more. it flows better. also the pink looks nice, but makes it look a little crowded because of the different colors it's a bit unnecessary.

I will agree the blue flows better, but I do not understand what you mean by the amount of color. She has the same amount no matter if I use teal or pink, the teal just compliments the blue while the pink contrasts with it! ^_^

Yeeaaah all the little details xD I was also just discussing with my brother and we were thinking that it'd be cool to make her eyes like Alexandrite where they shift from their current color to a more magenta/violet color depending on either the lighting in a room (like Alexandrite) or her moods lol...

I've seen that on a lot of characters. you can if you like, but in my opinion it's a bit cheesy
